* Learn how to use your own resources

* Write a letter to your family and friends, including the major talking points and framing your need.  

* Expand your network by using organizations and contacts you already have.

* Link you to a new support network to other patients involved in kidneyforU.

* Help you to overcome your obstacles.

* Give you the encouragement and support you need.   
 

Finding a living donor will take time and effort on your part, but remember...your life depends on it!  Some people are willing to do whatever it takes, while others aren't inclined to do much more than wait for someone to respond to their Facebook request.  

You can not depend on one source alone, you must continue to look.
